The Truth About The GBG Scam

You landed here because you're wondering if the GBG Scam information is true. So first off, I'd like to applaud you for doing your due diligence! Too many people make the mistake of not doing enough homework before the jump into a Work from Home opportunity, so trust me you're making the right moves!

GBG isn't a Scam, but let's face it, you don't know who I am and you don't see any proof backing that statement up. So let's take care of that first.

My name is Keith Kearney. With a decade's worth of studying social networks, article marketing, forum and banner advertising and video marketing, I've seen every type of MLM available and experimented with earning an income with several. I know a little something about wanting proof of an opportunity's viability and background so I can relate with you.

I'd be willing to bet you're familiar with the calling cards and hallmarks of spam-n-scam companies. They're impossible to avoid on the Web these days.

So let's compare notes on our best lines of Defense. I've developed a yardstick of sorts, to see how a company measures up against the standards I feel are necessary for a solid and successful business.

While you read mine, keep your own set in mind as you're reading and make sure everything adds up based on your scale too. Following your own instincts about what's right or wrong for you can be invaluable.

To make this easier to follow along with, I'll share my GBG experiences as they pertain to each of my GBG Scam Identifying criteria. Anything written like this, is so you know its a positive point about the GBG opportunity!

1) Product Viability:

The first ones a biggie. A lot of these scam review sites will try to lull you into a sense of false security with the claim that the simple fact their company HAS a product means they are not a scam.

If only this were the truth.

Fact is, there are a great many people who try to get around this thinking by offering the flimsiest, most useless or unnecessary items and services. The product serves as a front for whatever payment scheme is going on in the background.

One thing you should always ask yourself about the Product itself, be it vitamins, e-books, or make-up: How great would the sales be, if there was no pay plan? Ever seen a Mob film? Those guys weren't profiting on popular Italian restaurants, they were making millions smuggling bootleg booze through the backdoor. The principle is the same.

If you HAVE to pitch your opportunity just to convince people to try the feature, your long term goals are quickly going to become short term disasters.

GBG's flagship product is the 10-in-1 Liquid Vitamin. Its not a juice you need to drink large daily doses of, and its not 10 individual pills to pop with your morning coffee. The liquid formula allows for rapid absorption and the flavor is citrus and gentle.

The people I've encountered that drink it daily cite their continual results as a reason to purchase a bottle a month. Lower cholestorol, improved circulation, higher energy levels. Many of GBG's customers are strictly that- consumers of the product that don't recruit to build a team.

Do you still think the GBG Scam theory is true?

 2) Pay Plan Stability

Numbers are important, and not just because you'd love to add a couple of Zeroes and Commas to your next paycheck. When you're investigating an MLM, its crucial that you run the claims the Company makes about earning potential against the cost of the product/opportunity.

Too many people make the mistake of reading astronomical Income claims made on company websites and taking them at their word. A sales page isn't an encyclopedia, and they are not required to give you 100% of the facts.

Always do your own math. If you're bad with numbers, have a friend or family member you trust go over the figures with you. When something doesn't add up, its probably for good reason, because while a person or advertisement can put a "spin" on their language, numbers simply don't lie.

GBG's Forced Matrix 2x30 plan enables you to open up additional positions FOR YOURSELF (by accumulating Pay Points) after you've signed up only 2 people! This allows you to build a long term residual income and collect the revenue on a Weekly Basis!

Because GBG pays up to 1/4 to 1/2 the retail price of their products, you can see where the money comes from and where it goes. There are no start up fees for GBG, Plus your purchase of any of the products on a monthly basis qualifies you to earn commission and still isn't as expensive as health companies like Shaklee or Gano. For example, a bottle of GBG's 10-in-1 Liquid Vitamin is only $39.97 and its exactly the amount you would need to take as directed in a month. No leftovers and no overstock and no expensive autoships. I've worked with other Nutritional companies in the past, and I dare you to find a better compensation plan!

3)Marketability

Merriam & Webster's Dictionary defines Marketable as " a: fit to be offered for sale in a market " or "b: wanted by purchasers or employers".

Your product needs to meet those criteria. If it doesn't and someone's trying to sell you crap, they're most likely in it only for the payout they'll receive off of your recruitment. (Refer to #1 about that).

When you first heard about the product, did the lightbulb come on? Was the need or demand for the item/service obvious, and possibly newsworthy? Or did it remind you of a million other products of the same variety?

No other Liquid Vitamin product on the market packs such a powerful combination of the daily vitamins and supplements our regular diets might not supply us. There aren't many adults in my life these days that don't take some form of a nutritional supplement and the ease of putting 2 tablespoons of the 10-in-1 Vitamin into my morning OJ beat out the pill packs and juice jugs the other health companies offer.

Doesn't it drive you nuts when vitamins take up to a month to have a noticeable effect on your body? The 10-in-1 unique formula is designed to have immediate results and I challenge you to try it and NOT notice the difference!

4) Sustainability

One of my least favorite advertising tactics are those sales pages that tell you to "forget about get rich quick schemes and pie in the sky opportunities". They blab about honesty, sincerity and prosperity and then casually slip in you become "successful" for practically "giving it away" at the price of $1,995.

I'm not knocking large ticket programs. Many people strictly pursue more expensive opportunities because they feel it promotes commitment. However the idea of causing people to part with sums of cash that could seriously derail a household budget, just isn't something that appeals to the Christian side of my moral compass.

Always take into consideration whether or not the product is something you feel comfortable promoting AND you feel sure others will feel comfortable with as well. That doesn't necessarily mean it has to be cheap, but any recurring fee shouldn't be intimidating.

As I mentioned before, GBG does not Charge a monthly fee for maintenance services or Affiliate Dues. Eligibility to receive commission is based on ordering at least one product a month. This is rare, as companies like Shaklee and Gano cost me up to $150 a month to stay qualified.

How much money have you wasted on autoships and Back Office Fees? Wouldn't you rather put profit back into your budget and your wallet instead?

Would you like to be part of a GBG Team that is on the verge of breaking 5,000 members in the next 12 months?

5)Support and Communication

I won't say "red flag" but if it isn't painfully obvious a company without available and clear contact information is swimming in some pretty scammy waters.

When I say "Available" I mean you should at least be able to make contact with your company's customer service line during normal business hours, depending on their locale.

You also want to find out early off if they can be reached by phone, by email, or by Help Desk(which usually requires sending in a support ticket). Ask at least one in depth question of their Company representatives and asess how knowledgeable a response they deliver.

IMPORTANT: Do your homework on both the company's contact resources and those of the person recruiting you in the first place! Even in the instance of finding a legitimate company, you'll still need to find an Upline who works directly with their team members.

To those of you who are new, that may sound a little strange. If team members beneath you represent a portion of your monthly income, why ignore them? But its done every day by people too lazy or too inexperienced to properly manage a team.

Make sure you'll get the support you deserve and need by taking the time to make some phone calls or send an email before you hand over your credit card.

GBG presented a rare opportunity for me as a marketer. After doing my due diligence and discovering their contact information was in order, I proceeded to get in touch with my upline.

Clearly GBG is designed with a different format in mind. Not only are they responsive on a corporate level but it extends on down to their reps as well.

Hopefully you recognized some of those things from your own criteria for judging a product or opportunity a Scam. You probably have some I might not, so if you'd like to share yours, you can contact me here.
